About the role
The Saving our Species Program is committed to advancing biodiversity conservation through innovative technology solutions. We are developing a cutting-edge web application to streamline data management and decision-making to improve outcomes for threatened species conservation within NSW.
About you
As a Senior Project Officer you will be responsible for leading the requirements gathering and specifications development for a new web-based data management platform and supporting testing. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between scientific conservation needs and technical development ensuring the platform effectively supports conservation efforts and user needs.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with a background in threatened species conservation who thrives in a small agile and results-focused team environment.

Who we are
DCCEEW conserves and protects the states natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations.
DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state to support the environment communities and industry.
We acknowledge the ongoing custodial responsibilities of the Aboriginal peoples of NSW to care for Country and water and are committed to establishing meaningful partnerships with Aboriginal peoples in the management of the environment.
Participation in the NSW Biodiversity Offsets Scheme (BOS)
