RISK MANAGEMENT STUDENT ASSISTANT POSITION FALL 2025

Job Title: Student Assistant

Anticipated Start Date: Fall 2025 Semester

Maximum Hours Per Week: 10 hours

Pay Rate: 15.50

Job Description:

Answering telephones screening calls and taking detailed messages greeting/directing visitors responding to questions assisting with Insurance-related documents and renewals electronic filing data entry database maintenance topic specific research creating managing and editing Excel spreadsheets managing a department e-mail account assisting with review of online form submissions photocopying scanning on-campus errands and deliveries and other duties as assigned. With subsequent training the Student Assistant could assist with logging and submitting injury reports motor vehicle accident reports and the Risk Management website content.

Our student assistant will be integrated into the daily office work and will develop job skills and related experience.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates should demonstrate accuracy attention to detail organizational skills excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to process highly confidential material and assignments in a professional manner be friendly and a quick learner with the ability to function in a fast-paced team environment. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite Filemaker Pro and Adobe is preferred.

Student Assistants play a key role in our Office; therefore much training is involved we encourage students who desire a rewarding long-term experience to apply.
