Job Description
Special Education Teacher- Travel Position
Location: Federal Way WA
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 41 weeks
Shift: 5x8s Days
Pay: $2568/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. The teacher will create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) adapt curriculum and foster a supportive classroom environment that promotes student growth and success. The ideal candidate is patient flexible and committed to inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to meet students unique needs and learning styles.
Collaborate with general education teachers parents and support staff to ensure student success.
Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction as needed.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and compliance with state/federal regulations.
Foster a safe positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Special Education or related field
State teaching certification/licensure in Special Education
COVID vaccine TB test
Masters Degree in Special Education (Preferred)
Minimum 1-year experience working with students with disabilities
