Description:
We are hiring for our client who is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their established engineering and projects team. With a major capital programme underway this role will focus on leading the design delivery and commissioning of electrical infrastructure projects within a highly regulated environment.

The Role:

Manage design delivery and commissioning of electrical projects
Develop detailed project plans covering scope schedule budget and resources
Oversee design drawings and approvals to align with programme requirements
Ensure compliance with all technical standards regulations and specifications
Establish and maintain quality assurance systems
Support site teams enforce H&S standards and manage safe systems of work
Collaborate with contractors consultants and internal stakeholders
Monitor progress and performance against targets
Lead project meetings and technical discussions
Provide guidance to project teams and support commercial reporting

The Person:

Degree (UK Level 6 or above) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager on mediumlarge construction projects
Strong background in HV MV LV and communication systems
Full UK driving licence and own transport
Construction industry card (CSCS CSR or SafePass)
Knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) and UK H&S standards
Proven ability to manage contractors consultants and project performance
