About the role M te tranga mahi
This newly created position of Lead Advisor Operational Policy offers a unique opportunity to shape and influence ACCs operational policy landscape. The role is responsible for leading and delivering on a range of complex operational policy challenges and opportunities that support ACCs strategic direction.
Technical Services is a specialist function at ACC that supports consistent high-quality decision making across the organisation. As a member of the Technical Services extended leadership team you will support the development and continuous improvement of ACCs operational policy function.
Wellington location is preferred however other locations may be considered for the right applicant.

- You demonstrate thought leadership and critical thinking skills including insight analytical ability curiosity open-mindedness.
- You have the expertise and interpersonal skills required to drive organisational performance and achieve measurable impact working within complex organisations systems and legislative frameworks.
- You are able to identify practical solutions that balance risk cost operational needs and timeliness within our legislative parameters.
- You have strong business writing skills to communicate complex information quickly clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- You support the growth and development of others sharing knowledge and providing mentorship to strengthen team capability.
- You are committed to equity and improving access experience and outcomes for Mori and identified population groups.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $123676 and $152430 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
