What you will be doing:
The role is based out of our Head Office in Milton ON and reports to the Product Compliance Manager. As a member of the ROCKWOOL Product Development Testing & Compliance team you will be responsible for taking on exciting technical projects and initiatives for the duration of the co-op this role you will work closely with the Product Development Testing & Compliance team to assist in the development of technical resources and tools.
Main job tasks:
Collect and analyze current engineering data relevant to the North American insulation market.
Analyze test data to identify trends and develop tools that will enable the extension of existing data to new products and applications.
Establish a centralized library of existing test data and engineering reports and identify any gaps.
Help maintain and update technical documentation ensuring it remains accurate relevant and accessible.
Perform other assigned tasks giving you exposure to a broad and enriching range of experiences.
At the end of your co-op term you will have the opportunity to present your contributions to your fellow students and ROCKWOOL management.
What you bring:
Currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program (e.g. Engineering Building Science Environmental Science or related field).
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Previous co-op or internship experience in a related field is an asset.
Strong time management skills with the ability to track and manage multiple priorities
