The Operations Manager Site Lead is a key strategic leader responsible for driving operational performance efficiency and continuous improvement across the site. This role oversees the execution of manufacturing strategies ensures alignment with financial and customer objectives and fosters a culture of safety quality and regulatory compliance. With accountability for operational excellence cost optimization and talent development the Operations Manager Site Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting the organizations long-term growth and service commitments.
This position is eligible for relocation.
What You Will Do:
- Owns the execution of short / medium-term manufacturing strategy and the operational direction of the responsible service center production processes
- Achieves operating objectives consistent with budget and customer contractual obligations
- Leads continuous improvement (CI) activity for the service center; consistently demonstrates a commitment to CI as a change agent for the facility
- Oversees cost reduction and process improvement for the service center to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness
- Develop annual service center budgets
- Oversee and ensures all quality related items are complete and documented to meet established quality standards. Develops and maintains an audit ready environment for area of responsibility.
- Ensure workplace is safe and free of significant hazards. Overall EH&S accountability for responsible service center(s)
- Manage the financial performance of the service center
- Analyzes inventory and coordinates with purchasing on replenishment processes and stocking levels
- Plan and maintain proper staffing levels in area of responsibility
- Ensure and actively support employees career development
- Monitors product quality and ensures shipped orders are in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements and/or other regulatory agencies
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Up to 10% of travel
Must Have Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience in manufacturing operations or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations
- Prior supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. FAA ISO standards)
- Proficiency in data analysis and ERP/MRP systems

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
