Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable Intake Specialist to join our team. This role is often the first point of contact for new clients making professionalism and empathy essential. The Intake Specialist will handle incoming calls gather and document client information schedule consultations and ensure each client feels supported and understood from the start of their legal journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients via phone email or in-person.
- Conduct intake interviews to collect necessary client information and case details.
- Accurately input and maintain client data in case management systems.
- Schedule and confirm consultations or appointments for attorneys.
- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure timely follow-up with potential clients.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure smooth transition of cases after intake.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to firm policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a legal customer service or intake role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software (experience with insert system if applicable is a plus).
- Professional demeanor with a client-first mindset.
