Job Title
Payroll ClerkPosition Overview
This position is in a fast paced highly analytical and dynamic environment and operates under the direction of the Supervisor Payroll Operations. The Payroll Clerk is responsible for Workday and Workforce timekeeping system support. The associate will be required to interpret and apply company policy and provide solutions as needed. The position is responsible for weekly and monthly payroll processing for over 18000 associates located in all 50 states.
Responsibilities
Review analyze and audit electronic timesheets in Workforce time and attendance system to ensure accurate in/out punches and time tracking.
Support frontline leaders HR and associate requests regarding Workforce attendance points schedules and pay codes via HR Payroll mailbox and Genesys Phone system ensuring a quick response and resolution to issues or concerns with a 24-hour turnaround.
Provide timely professional phone support while maintaining a positive and empathetic attitude to ensure customer satisfaction and effective issue resolution.
Conduct quarterly system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with labor laws
Establish and maintain time & attendance system (Workforce) configuration as needed by building new models employee filters rotation patterns and staffing criteria.
Administration of OTR (Over the Road) truckers weekly payroll.
Support HR Partners with pay card enrollment and help troubleshoot when there are issues.
Conduct salaried non-exempt timekeeping maintenance and audit of OT hours.
Identify training needs of assigned facilities and provide training as needed.
Support Payroll Operations Manager and Supervisor as needed by participating in special projects as and when required.
Providing reports to business and HR partners as needed.
Serve as an escalation point for associates and business partners for conducting investigations relating to pay discrepancies
Required Experience:
High school graduate/GED
Analytical and interpretive skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
Accountable and confidential
Preferred:
HR Payroll and/or accounting experience
Bi-lingual English/Spanish

Special Requirements:
Willing to work all Mondays including holidays. Willing to work weekends and evenings as needed. The incumbent must be able to work under time constraints to ensure deadlines are met. Must be able to prioritize take initiative and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
