Job Summary
Job description
Perform repairs replacements and other alterations to the exteriors of Commercial truck bodies and truck components. Install components to existing truck chassis assist in installing new bodies up fit to existing. Prep clean refinish truck bodies and components. Comply with instructions as directed by senior techs.

Responsibilities
- Determine and install partsas directed
- Perform Check-In and Dealer Prep on new units received.
- Install appropriate Logos and Decals
- Communicate status of repairs clearly to senior techs
- Communicate with parts manager to obtain necessary parts
- Document all repairs performed
- Document all materials used
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Learn and follow federal state and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste
- Train under experienced Shop Techs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical Aptitude preferred as Trainee
- Enthusiastic learner much preferred
- Past dealership experience not required
- Completion of vocational program considered but not required
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Clean driving record & valid drivers license
