Job Description: Senior SDET (35 Years of Experience)
We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 35 years of experience in both manual and automation testing to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation frameworks system integration testing and quality engineering for web applications and microservices. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can collaborate across development QA and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality scalable software solutions.
Responsibilities
Design develop and execute automation test frameworks using Selenium Cucumber and Postman.
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to implement BDD/TDD practices and ensure effective test coverage.
Perform system integration testing for complex web applications and microservices.
Manage test data and create reusable test scripts to support continuous testing.
Conduct manual and automated testing to validate functionality performance and regression.
Ensure accessibility compliance using tools such as JAWS.
Utilize tools such as SoapUI for API and web services testing.
Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) for continuous quality assurance.
Track manage and report test execution and results using Zephyr and other test management tools.
Drive quality improvements by identifying gaps recommending enhancements and mentoring junior QA engineers.
Qualifications
35 years of experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer.
Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing for web and microservices applications.
Hands-on experience with Selenium Cucumber Postman SoapUI and Zephyr.
Solid understanding of BDD TDD and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
Knowledge of accessibility testing standards and tools (JAWS preferred).
Excellent problem-solving debugging and analytical skills.
