Clinical Supervisor

Job Description
This role involves mentoring graduate student clinicians overseeing diagnostic and therapeutic services across the lifespan and ensuring high-quality patient care in our teaching facility. The supervisor will also collaborate with academic faculty to align clinical experiences with coursework participate in clinic staff meetings and contribute to program development. Strong interpersonal skills knowledge of evidence-based practice and experience with a diverse patient population are essential. The supervisor will review written reports provide written and verbal assessment to students and approve clinical hours within the student tracking system. Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Supervision and Guidance: Provide clinical supervision and guidance to a team of healthcare professionals and provide real-time supervision of therapy sessions. Facilitating : Facilitating student reflection and clinical reasoning Performance Evaluations: Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve clinical skills Compliance : Ensure that the team complies with all local state and federal laws and regulations related to patient care. Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. Record Keeping: maintaining documentation in accordance with ASHA and CAA standards Staff Management: Assist in hiring training and orientation of new clinical staff. Conflict Resolution: Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within the clinical team. Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest research and development in healthcare and implement relevant practices. Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure that the clinical environment is safe clean and properly equipped. Special Job Dimensions: Work requires working with highly sensitive or confidential information. Equivalent Education/Experience Masters Degree Significant experience in a clinical setting Minimum of three years Current ASHA Certification State License
