This Town Runner position is responsible for purchasing town items needed from stores in Vicksburg for customer orders.

Town Runner Responsibilities include the following:

• Take special care of company property which includes the company vehicle credit card or cash
• Purchase town items and deliver to the appropriate department being sure to verify the accuracy of items purchased
• Purchased items are to be priced and packaged for delivery to the customer.
• Returns are to be taken to the store on time
• Ensure proper handling of receipts to include the name of the customer vessel or the reason for purchase
• Ensure proper handling of receipts according to Dispatch Receipt Management (VDI-OP-003)
• Complete Vehicle Inspection Checklist at the beginning of each shift
• Assist other departments as assigned and time permits
• Must be able to work the following shift: Monday through Friday 6 am until 6 pm

Town Runner Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Drivers License
• Good communication and organizational skills detail-oriented

The person selected must be able to work in any environment (heat cold rain etc.).
