Job Duties:
Design develop and deliver training programs for staff at all levels including onboarding compliance and professional development
Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and recommend targeted learning solutions
Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions using engaging interactive methods
Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust content based on feedback and performance metrics
Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with state and agency requirements
Collaborate with subject matter experts supervisors and leadership to align training with operational goals
Support certification programs continuing education and leadership development initiatives
Stay current with best practices in juvenile justice trauma-informed care and instructional technology

Appointment Type: Full-time Probational
Career Progression: This position may be filled as a Training and Development Specialist 12 or 3.
