If you have a background in manufacturing safety or a degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Health we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and maintain safety programs and procedures to meet OSHA and company standards
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across all departments
- Lead accident and incident investigations identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Deliver training on safety protocols emergency response PPE use and hazard communication
- Ensure proper documentation of incidents inspections training and safety metrics
- Serve as the internal expert and point of contact for safety-related concerns and compliance questions
- Collaborate with managers and team leaders to foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Health or a related field
OR3 years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment - OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and best practices for industrial safety
- Excellent communication and training skills with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels
- Organized detail-oriented and comfortable handling multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with safety management systems is a plus
