Position Summary

Blackbird Health is looking for a Child and AdolescentTherapist to join our team. Youll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and be empowered to make a tangible difference in the lives of young patients and their families.

How youll make an impact:

  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services by meeting with patients regularly to provide counseling individualized treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Evaluate new clients through biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments
  • Invest in your patient relationships by establishing positive trusting rapport with patients
  • Because we must work within a childs school schedule we incentivize our clinicians to provide availability during Blackbirds core after-school hours
  • Collaborate with other specialty providers (i.e. CRNPs EF Coaches Speech therapists) to establish an Integrated Treatment Plan
  • Comply with minimum clinical time expectations per week after onboarding and acclimation to the role
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress and maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress
  • Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate

The basics youll need:

  • Flexibility to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during our peak after school hours defined as after 4pm ET during the week or if you wanted any time on weekends.
  • Active licensure inNew Jerseyas a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

This hybrid role can work on site either Mon Weds Fri or Tues Thurs Sat (the remaining days can be done remotely)

Salary Range

$80000 - $90000 USD
