The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in supporting the business development processes by providing in-depth financial analysis building valuation models and leading project execution. This position requires a strong understanding of financial valuation principles excellent analytical skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives such as M&A joint ventures and other business development projects.

What will you do

Business Development Support: Lead and provide support for complex strategic level decisions with expert analysis appropriate for SLT and Board level audiences.

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business development activities including valuations scenario analysis and forecasting.
• Lead and conduct thorough financial due diligence and analysis of target companies.
• Conduct peer group analyses and valuations and create peer comparison reports.
• Collaborate with the business development teams to identify potential acquisition targets and assess their financial performance.
• Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Analyze financial statements market trends and industry data to support strategic decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of investment proposals and business cases for potential acquisitions.
• Monitor and report on the post-transaction financial performance of acquired companies.
• Support transaction stages from pre-signing through post-closing activities.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business development process.

Special Projects and Ad hoc Reporting Requests: Partner with leadership to respond to inquiries or ad hoc requests which require analytical support. Lead and/or provide support for the development of complex one-time analytics as well as to help to deep dive into complex issues affecting assigned partner teams

Requirements

• Bachelors Business Finance Accounting Economics Engineering or related field
• Experience in financial analysis modeling and valuations preferably in a business development or M&A context.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects to prioritize and adapt to a changing environment.
• Self-starter with the ability and drive to independently frame problems and attack the work at hand.
• Strong computer skills which includes proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint and Outlook) and Teams.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software tools.
• English Advanced
