About the Client:
A leading government-focused organisation driving enterprise transformation across Queenslands corporate systems. This role supports a multi-year program to replatform and upgrade SAP HR/Payroll and Finance systems to cloud-based solutions enhancing service delivery operational efficiency and long-term sustainability.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a large-scale ICT-enabled transformation program. The role involves strategic oversight of multiple project streams governance and risk management stakeholder engagement and integration with other major initiatives across the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and delivery of SAP replatforming and upgrade initiatives.
- Develop and manage program business cases budgets and implementation plans.
- Establish and oversee governance risk and reporting frameworks.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams vendors and stream leads.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and change adoption across the organisation.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership and steering committees.
- Ensure alignment with broader ICT programs and departmental priorities.
Required Experience:
- 5 years in program/project leadership ideally in SAP or large-scale ICT programs.
- Experience in government or complex service provider environments.
- Strong understanding of program governance and delivery methodologies.
- SAP Rise implementation experience highly regarded.
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant qualifications in ICT or program/project management preferred.

- Contract to31 December 2025with potential for extension
- $1334/day super
- Brisbane CBD location (Hybrid minimum 3 days onsite)
