In this exciting role youll be at the forefront of Miros growth within the vibrant startup ecosystem. Youll be responsible for the full sales cycle from proactively identifying and engaging promising early-stage companies to expertly guiding them through the adoption of Miro and ensuring their continued success and expansion on our platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact build strong relationships within the startup community and contribute to the success of some of the worlds most innovative ventures.

What youll do

  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Actively identify and qualify high-potential startup accounts within key global startup hubs (San Francisco New York and Austin)
  • Build Relationships: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders within target startup organizations understanding their unique needs and challenges
  • Conduct Engaging Product Demonstrations: Showcase the power and versatility of Miro through compelling and tailored presentations that resonate with the fast-paced environment of startups
  • Manage and Close Sales Cycles: Effectively manage the entire sales process from initial outreach to negotiation and deal closure consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Drive Customer Success: Serve as a trusted advisor to new startup customers ensuring a smooth onboarding process driving adoption and proactively identifying opportunities for growth and expansion within their organizations
  • Become a Startup Community Champion: Actively participate in the startup community through networking events industry gatherings and online forums building Miros presence and reputation
  • Provide Valuable Feedback: Share insights gained from working with startups with internal teams (Product Marketing Customer Success) to help Miro better serve this critical segment

What youll need

  • 2 years of proven success in a sales role ideally with experience selling SaaS solutions
  • A genuine passion for and understanding of the startup ecosystem its dynamics and common challenges faced by early-stage companies
  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly
  • Strong hunter mentality with a proactive and self-motivated approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities
  • Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle and consistently achieve or exceed targets
  • Familiarity with common sales technologies including CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach experience a plus)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to be active in the startup community potentially involving travel to key startup hubs
  • A Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience
