Candidates must have or they will not be qualified:
1. Hands On experience administrating the AWS Platform using AWS Organizations Control tower and other organization related AWS Services such as AWS Config Security hub SCP RCPs etc.
2. GitHub & Terraform knowledge. Experience managing the AWS Platform using CICD Pipelines and IaC3.
3. While experience developing solutions or migrating applications to the cloud is welcomed we are not looking for that specifically.
Design implement and manage scalable secure and reliable AWS cloud platform.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources & policies.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
Architect and implement cloud solutions that meet business requirements and align with best practices.
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance cost and security.
Implement and enforce cloud governance policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services features and best practices.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Provide technical consulting on effective cost optimization for application teams including efficient operation of AWS services and resource types and creation of budgets alerts and cost management dashboards
Position Responsibilities
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
3 years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on AWS.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools particularly Terraform.
Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Solid understanding of cloud architecture and best practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Knowledge of cloud governance frameworks and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
