Job Description
This position is for an X-Ray Technician working a 7-on 7-off night shift (Tuesday night through Wednesday night) in a short-term acute care/Level II trauma hospital. The role involves providing X-ray services and may require weekend work every other weekend. The position may float between units.
- Maintaining equipment.
- Adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Documenting procedures and findings.
- Following hospital policies and procedures.
- ARRT certification (or equivalent).
- BLS certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
- Experience with various X-ray modalities.
- Fluoroscopy experience.
- Advanced imaging techniques.
- Weekend work every other weekend.
- No on-call requirements.
- Block scheduling is required.
- 1:1 patient ratio.
- Scrubs are provided in sterile units.
- Charting is done using Epic.
- Free parking.
- Night shift (Tuesday night through Wednesday night).
