Job Description
Introduction
Our client a law firm in Krugersdorp is on the lookout for a driven Candidate Attorney to join their litigation team. With a dedication to client satisfaction they specialize in delivering tailored legal solutions. Working alongside seasoned attorneys they'll have the chance to grow their skills through hands-on experience in diverse litigation matters.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting legal research and drafting legal documents including pleadings motions and affidavits.
- Attend court proceedings including hearings trials and settlement conferences to observe and assist senior attorneys.
- Communicate with clients opposing counsel and court personnel to gather information provide updates and coordinate case activities.
- Prepare trial materials exhibits and evidence for litigation proceedings.
- Assist with case management tasks including file organization document management and maintaining case calendars and deadlines.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for litigation proceedings.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing photocopying and scanning documents.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- LLB degree from a recognized institution.
- Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
