About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and detail-oriented Motor Claims Consultant to join our dynamic claims this role youll manage Motor claims from end to end working across a diverse portfolio that includes both intermediated and direct customers.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment enjoys problem-solving and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Youll play a key role in ensuring claims are handled efficiently professionally and in line with compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately assess and manage Motor claims in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Handle claims efficiently within agreed workflow timeframes and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Proactively manage claim lifecycles through diary management and vendor coordination (e.g. repairers assessors).
• Respond to customer complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction with empathy and professionalism.
• Manage incoming call enquiries providing clear and timely support to customers and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular claims reviews and assist with overflow claims from other sub-teams as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• 35 years of experience in Motor claims handling.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to adapt communication to different customer groups.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proven time management and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the insurance industry.
• Experience working with external vendors such as repairers assessors and brokers.
