We are currently recruiting for our upcoming School Holiday Program (22nd September 3rd October). As a Support Worker youll be expected to actively engage with participants ensuring all activities are tailored to meet their individual needs. Engagement is keyyou must be able to connect with clients while closely following detailed care plans to provide safe and effective support.

Following the School Holiday Program there will also be ongoing casual shifts available in our Community Access Program offering consistent opportunities for the right candidates.

About the Role

Youll be assisting clients in building independence participating in daily routines and engaging with their community. Current opportunities include:

School Holiday Program

The Program runs from the 22nd September 3rd October

Time of the program 8:30am 3:30pm

Casual Community Access Shift

We have numerous clients that require ongoing care between the hours outlined below.

Early mornings: 6:00am 9:00am

Evenings: 5:00pm 8:00pm

Youll follow individualised care plans and provide meaningful person-centred support in a positive and safe environment.

What Were Looking For

  • Experience working with clients with high support needs
  • Confidence in following detailed care plans
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • A bubbly high-energy personality
  • Full valid drivers license (essential)
  • Bus driving confidence (required for school holiday program only)
  • Comfortable and able to swim when required
  • Dependable adaptable and able to work both independently and within a team

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 years experience working with individuals with disabilities their families and carers.
  • Experience in managing complex behaviours of concern.
  • Valid Victorian Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Full Drivers License and a clean driving record
