Position overview

The Technology BU is a global organization with discipline-based governance and priority setting supported by Agile ways of working. It is organized across the three domains with each housing equipment software and architecture & integration engineers ensuring cohesive development. This approach will offer our customers shorter lead times as well as more cost-effective and reliable solutions. Next to the 3 domains there will be a Innovation and Enabling Technology department which will focus on driving adjacent and disruptive innovation advancing digital transformation and ensuring that Vanderlande remains at the forefront of logistics automation technology.

As a Change Manager you play a central role in the successful leadership and implementation of strategic and operational changes within the High Tech organization. You are responsible for the holistic support of transformation initiatives from analysis and planning to sustainable integration. You support leaders and teams in understanding accepting and implementing change effectively. Your actions are based on proven change management methodologies particularly the Prosci ADKAR model.

You will work closely with a team of coaches transformation managers and trainers. You are responsible for ensuring that the transformation team follows the change processes and adheres to the change plan.

You will network with other Change Managers across the company to continuously align and improve competencies and methodologies with organizational needs.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Analyze change needs and develop appropriate change strategies
  • Apply the Prosci ADKAR model to manage individual and organizational change processes
  • Develop and implement change management plans (communication coaching training and resistance management plans)
  • Collaborate closely with transformation management leadership and HR to integrate change activities into existing transformations
  • Build change capability in the organization through workshops training and coaching
  • Identify and engage relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and execute communication measures to foster understanding acceptance and engagement
  • Monitor and evaluate change initiatives to ensure sustainable implementation
  • Conduct risk analysis and develop measures to minimize resistance
  • Promote a positive change culture within the organization

Qualification Requirements:

  • University degree in business social sciences communications or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in change management ideally in complex transformation projects in a high tech environment
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with the Prosci ADKAR model (ideally Prosci-certified)
  • In-depth methodological knowledge in change management organizational development and communication
  • High level of empathy strong communication and facilitation skills
  • High Level of self-steering able to set out change plan and drive for success across several levels in the company ( Team level till execution level)
  • Ability to collaborate across various hierarchical levels and stakeholder groups with diverse backgrounds ranging from technology deep focused people towards execution minded and business minded people.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills combined with a focus on execution
  • Experience in managing resistance and designing learning and change processes
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Ideally proficiency in Dutch
