Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or GED
- Prefer 15-30 hours of college credit OR pass the district paraprofessional exams
- Prefer valid educational aide certification
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Must be fluent (verbal and writing skills) in the Spanish and English languages
- Ability to work well with children
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to use personal computer
Experience: Three years experience as classroom aide or hours of college credit with emphasis in child growth and development preferred
SALARY / WORK DAYS: Hourly pay range starts at $12.30 - $18.54; will work 7.5 hours daily 187 days
