Position Summary
The Quality Control Inspector supports the Division Manager by routinely reviewing on-site janitorial operations. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that housekeeping services meet contractual standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cleaning inspections and document results
- Prepare and follow up on work orders
- Observe daily operations and assess housekeeping staff
- Address cleanliness standards and resolve client complaints
- Assign tasks to on-site managers and monitor the quality of completed work
- Enforce safety protocols and provide site-specific training
- Purchase distribute and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order
- Maintain accurate timekeeping records and oversee employee hours
- Provide site coverage and emergency response as needed
- Communicate with clients through weekly and monthly reports
Qualifications & Experience
- Hands-on janitorial experience preferred over formal education
- Strong leadership decision-making and observational skills
- Excellent time management and stamina for active fast-paced environments
- Ability to maintain safety standards including chemical handling and storage
- Experience in inventory control and supply management
- Understanding of local community and service needs
- Valid drivers license and access to personal transportation
- Ability to resolve employee and customer concerns effectively
