Inviting applications for the role of Manager Record to Report Indirect Tax
In this role We seek for an accounting graduate with prior experience. You should have good knowledge of indirect Tax & US Tax.
Responsibilities
Prepare Indirect Tax Accruals
Prepare Indirect Tax Return Filings
Respond to Internal and External Queries from Stakeholders Tax Authorities Vendors Customers AR team AP Team
Prepare required Adjustments on Tax Accruals and Returns
Analyze resale and exemption certificates for accuracy credibility applicability and completeness and update customer account or order accordingly
Process tax exemption requests within a specified time frame
Educate internal departments as to the proper documentation required to meet tax exempt status requirements
Accurately calculate document and authorize tax credits for sales taxes
Maintain effective responsive and courteous communication with all customers
Respond to questions from external customers about exemption certificates and tax billing issues
Resolve tax related credit disputes prompted by customer non-payment of sales tax resulting from incomplete or inaccurate exemption certificates
Learn in-depth state and local rules and regulations to better interpret tax certificates
Demonstrate an understanding of tax exemption requirements for various levels of sales taxes and customer exemption types
Participate in research projects pertaining to exemption certificate requirements

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
B. Com CA Inter / B. Com ICWA Inter / M. Com / MBA Finance / Qualified CA / CMA
Good exposure in Indirect Tax Accounting domain with relevant experience of General Accounting experience for qualified CA / CMA) Indirect Tax Sales and Use Tax Property Tax VAT Accounting Book Closing Reporting and Reconciliation primarily for US region
Very good written and verbal / oral communication skills
Proficient in MS Office applications especially in MS excel
Excellent Interpersonal skills Problem solving skills and Analytical reasoning ability
Flexibility to quickly shift priorities multi-task and prioritize simultaneous requirements in fast paced environment and balance all to completion
Ability to handle clients / Internal Stakeholders / External discussions
Macros / VBA an added advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel
Problem solving and research skills
Organized methodical and a strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced business environment
Understanding of Accounting AR/Credit or Customer Service procedures

Preferred qualifications
Experience in the technology industry
Sales and use tax experience
