About The Role:

We are seeking for an experienced and dedicated Endoscopy Nurse to join our expanding Endoscopy/Day Surgery department at the Mater Hospital in North Sydney. By early 2026 the unit will relocate to a brand-new state-of-the-art endoscopy suite further enhancing our capacity to deliver excellence in endoscopic care.
This role will be part time working 32 hours per week (4 days). You will be providing skilled nursing care and assistance during a range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
You will support the needs of patients and clinicians throughout the peri-procedural journey and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team committed to clinical excellence safety and continuous improvement.

About You:

Current AHPRA registration.
Previous experience in Endoscopy Theatre or Perioperative nursing.
Have thorough knowledge of GENCA GESA HICMR and Infection control policies and procedures in Endoscopy.
Have strong clinical assessment and communications skills.
Have a compassionate and professional approach to patient care.
Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

About The Mater:

In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital North Sydney.

One of Sydneys premier private hospitals.
Close by to train stations at North Sydney St Leonards and Crows Nest and buses on Pacific Highway.
The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.
Core specialties include Obstetrics Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements bone and sports injuries cardiology cancer care and surgery lung and vascular medicine ear nose and throat surgery urology endocrine surgery and neurosurgery.
