Job Summary

Do you want to join a global fund manager in energy infrastructure investments If so Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is currently looking for a Senior Associate to join our Partner Relations & Incentives team based in Copenhagen.

Team

As Senior Associate in our Partner Relations & Incentives team you will become part of a small high-performing team where independence and initiative are valued. While you are expected to take ownership of tasks and drive projects forward we do not expect you to have all the answers. Knowing when to seek input from internal and external legal experts is a key part of succeeding in the role. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-impact area that directly supports CIPs people strategy and long-term value creation.

Role

In this role your primary focus will be on theemployee-facing legal aspects of CIPs global reward programs includingcarry programswarrants andco-investment arrangements. You will be responsible for managing documentation onboarding processes and participant communications ensuring that employees are supported throughout their involvement in these long-term incentive schemes. This position does not require in-depth knowledge of the reward programs themselves as the ability to collaborate with stakeholders is the most important capability. You will also provide legal support on employment-related matters working closely with HR and Legal colleagues to ensure consistency and compliance across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:

  • Handle legal documentation and processes related to employee participation incarrywarrant andco-investment programs.
  • Coordinate onboarding and communication with participants ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure smooth execution and compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Maintain and update templates guidelines and governance materials related to reward programs.
  • Draft and review employment-related documents including contracts amendments and policies.
  • Provide legal input on HR matters across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support the development of compliant and consistent HR practices.

You

We are looking for a motivated individual holding Masters degree in Law HR Finance or a related field with some knowledge of employment law and a minimum of 3-5 years of full-time experience in a similar role.

We look for the following in a candidate:

  • Experience in HR legal advisory employment law or compensation-related legal work ideally in an international corporate setting.
  • Experience with employment contracts incentive agreements and co-investment structures.
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with a structured and proactive approach.
  • Comfortable collaborating with external legal advisors and internal stakeholders across functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex structures and legal concepts into practical solutions.
