Job Description

SYSCOMs seeking a Project Manager (PMP Certified) to work in our clients finance division on various projects mainly the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). Lead high-impact IT projects that shape the future of finance operations while working in a collaborative hybrid environment.
Work Location: The work is expected to be performed in a hybrid setting - partially remote and partially in-person with at least three (3) days each week in the office. The on-site work location is Saint Paul MN 55101.
Job duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide leadership and guidance for projects
- Provide strategic vision and thinking with focus on outcomes
- Create clear and attainable project objectives
- Create clear and attainable project requirements
- Manage project constraints of cost time and scope
- Form close links with team members and stakeholders
- Direct & manage project development from beginning to end
- Define project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with project sponsors and stakeholders
- Estimate project resource requirements and participants needed to achieve goals including changes during where necessary
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- Establish project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and tracking such milestones and deliverables
- Manage changes in project scope identify potential crises or issues and devise contingency plans as appropriate
- Communicate project plans expectations updates progress issues and successes in a timely & clear fashion when necessary
- Manage multiple smaller projects
- Provide knowledge transfer
- Five (5) years of experience in an IT Project Management role
- Two (2) engagements lasting more than six months in an IT Project Manager role
- Demonstrable leadership ability
- PMP certification must be current PMP unexpired and verifiable
