Overview
Our practice is seeking a Senior Associate to support a large global banking client on a temporary engagement. This role is within the 2nd Line of Defense focused on monitoring testing and validating the remediation of regulatory and risk issues before handoff to Internal Audit for 3rd Line testing. The Senior Associate will work closely with business and control teams to ensure remediation efforts are completed and properly documented.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and validate issue remediation activities against regulatory and client standards.
Review evidence and documentation supporting closure of risk and compliance issues.
Partner with business and control teams to ensure timely and accurate remediation execution.
Escalate gaps delays or concerns in issue remediation to management.
Prepare closure packages and reporting to support governance and oversight.
Collaborate with Internal Audit and risk teams to ensure readiness for independent testing.
Qualifications
3 plus years of experience in banking risk management compliance or internal audit.
Prior 2nd Line of Defense experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity with regulatory issue management and remediation practices.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Consulting or client-facing experience a plus.

At RSM an employees pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including but not limited to education skills work experience certifications location etc. As such pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
