Since then, Kuwait city, the political and economic capital, witnessed unprecedented growth in all the strata of society. The evolution of basic accounting and auditing services started in the State of Kuwait since independence. The winter of 1963 saw the birth of a debutant firm 'Kuwait Auditing Office – Bader Al Bazie & Company'. Assignment of Registration number 1A to the founder of the Firm, Bader Al Bazie, is a testimony of trust the State of Kuwait has imposed upon the founder to develop auditing profession, for which he stood up to the expectation. Over the years, the Firm has associated with International Firms from time to time. During 1969 – 1990, the Firm was an associate of Arthur Young; during 1990 – 2002 it was a member firm of Andersen. The collapse of Andersen in the US has left the firm to grow much stronger.
