Job Summary
COLSA is hiring for a Strategic Operations Planner to support work in Tampa Florida! Work is estimated to begin January 2 2026
Candidate serves as a Strategic Operations planner. Offer programmatic supportat the CCMD Level participate in planning prepare briefings and facilitate approval of activities with senior DoD leadership. Represent designated planning activities on operational planning teams working groups and in other planning venues. Develop and execute these plans.
- Provide expert advice and analytical support for strategic planning performance management and measurement and organizational assessment efforts.
- Provide strategic and operational level analysis pertaining to DoD-wide strategy futures issues and strategic foresight policy doctrine decisions trends concepts and studies.
- Provide senior staff advice and guidance regarding the establishment management and execution-level analysis and risk management relating to operations.
- Support day-to-day office activities such as organizing and facilitating meetings and managing systems/taskers.
- Analyze strategies policies doctrine plans capability gaps and emerging trends to support decision-making related to the current and potential future threat environment.
- Coordinate and integrate plans with supporting/supported interagency partners.
- Review and analyze selected publications to determine congruence with or divergence from existing policy and doctrine.
- Co-coordinate facilitate and execute strategic and policy interface opportunities involving strategic planning strategy management and policy integration functions and budgeting/effective use of strategy related resources.
- Provide advice on prioritization of strategy related programs
