Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - Security Operations
In this role the Project Coordinator / Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing security operations projects and organizing penetration testing activities. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Conduct regular meetings to update stakeholders on project progress and address any issues.
Provide training and support to team members on security operations processes.
Oversee the planning and execution of penetration testing activities.
Gather and analyse business requirements related to security operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
Translate business needs into technical specifications for the development team.
Lead and manage security operations projects from initiation to completion.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans status reports and risk assessments.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
Experience in security operations and penetration testing planning.
Strong understanding of security frameworks and methodologies.
Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Proficient in business analysis techniques and tools.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Certification in security operations or penetration testing (like CISSP CEH).
Experience with security tools and technologies (such as SIEM IDS/IPS).
Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (such as GDPR HIPAA).
