Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Sell and book rail tickets for national and international journeys
- Provide proactive travel advice and effectively upsell and cross-sell additional products and services
- Address customer inquiries requests and feedback promptly and professionally
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments when necessary
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current promotions offers and advertising materials
- Ensure travel center displays and resources reflect the latest information
Requirements
- German language proficiency at B2 CEFR level or higher
- 2 years of working experience as a Travel Consultant
- Conversational English skills
- Confident and proficient in using computers and relevant software systems
- Professional appearance and a customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
- Punctual reliable and available for shift work including weekends and public holidays
- Valid driving license (Class B) is considered an advantage
- Military or civilian service completed (or exemption applicable)
