ROLE SUMMARY
The Global HR Platform Design and Enablement Lead is part of the HR Platform Solutions team and is accountable for the design and development of innovative integrated solutions across the Workday platform. This role has global responsibility for all business processes within Workday. Partnering with stakeholders across Colleague Services (CS) PX Digital and impacted businesses this role provides thought-leadership by applying business functional and technical knowledge to the design and overall usage of the Workday platform. The role is critical to ensure alignment of current and future design to the overall guiding principles and strategies of Workday. The role also requires collaboration and alignment on strategy and delivery with business and product leadership across systems that integrate with Workday to ensure a seamless experience for colleagues and managers. Focuses on the colleague experience.
The HR Platform Design and Enablement Lead will be expected to influence senior management decisions that have impact on business direction. Some of these decisions have long-term business unit impact and may entail risk or business opportunity.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Process Architecture and Enablement
- Understand both global and local business needs and priorities and cross functional implication of design decisions and drive changes in Workday.
- Configure Business Process changes in Workday working with the Release Management Team to plan assess impacts prioritize and implement changes for both Workday and Pfizer-driven releases.
- Lead continuous process improvement efforts identifying and prioritizing opportunities and advocating for features or changes that bring value and benefit to Pfizer.
- Assess new functionality in Workday releases and make recommendations for adoption strategy and implementation timeline.
- Participate in selected future development work within Workday (Design Partner groups early adopters etc) representing Pfizers interest and influencing overall design in a way that benefits Pfizer.
- Maintain strong external network of Workday experts (within Workday Workday Community and other Workday clients) to bring ideas and solutions to Pfizer.
- Conduct impact analysis on all approved change requests HR Portfolio projects and other key global initiatives to understand and articulate impacts to the Workday platform. Partner with Service Delivery Fuse team and Digital to assess impacts to integrations data model/security the service delivery model and third-party vendors.
- Prioritize and manage development of new or change business process requirements.
- Focus on Automation and AI to minimize manual work and streamline HR processes.
- Drive projects to completion on time and within budget.
Collaboration Enablement
- Ensure optimal colleague experience through execution measurement and integration with ServiceNow Fuse portal and HR Case Management.
- Partner with global Business Process Owners to develop integrated solutions and design processes that balance established global standards and simplification while harnessing the power of Workday for innovative PX and business solutions.
Team Management
- Lead the global Platform Design and Enablement team to deliver best-in-class solutions and support.
- Responsible for the Platform Design and Enablement teams recruitment onboarding training and development performance management engagement and team quality according to Pfizers Purpose and Values and in support of Global Business Services objectives.
- Create a culture focused on data driven decision making continuous improvement automation compliance vendor accountability and quality focused on measurable outcomes and improvement and partnership with those teams that enable optimal service delivery.
Stakeholder Management
- Responsible for relationship management with Business Process Owners and with key stakeholders across Digital Colleague Services Enterprise Services and within PX .
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Human Resources or related field required with a minimum of 8 years of HR Related experience preferably around HR systems and the Workday system with 5 years of team management experience
- Proven leadership experience in process design analytical organizational project management and problem-solving skills in a global cross-functional team environment
- Demonstrated ability to understand and balance local country and regional requirements to adapt and implement strategic global process decisions
- High level of global business acumen and understanding business requirements
- Ability to influence at all levels with skill in building and harnessing the power of both internal and external networks
- Strong functional and technical understanding of the Workday solution and the global HR Service Delivery model
- Strong organizational interpersonal communication and partnering skills with both technical and functional end users
- Ability to develop and design innovative technical solutions that enable a positive user experience
- Demonstrated ability to drive efforts to standardize optimize and simplify processes and technical solutions
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to learn new systems
- Anticipates understands and manages change that has a substantial impact on the business; demonstrates a high level of change agility

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $152700.00 to $254500.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
