Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team in Pevely MO. In this role you will manage track and organize a high-volume small-part inventory used by contractors to install and maintain fiber optic and Wi-Fi cable networks. This includes materials such as splitters construction supplies vaults markers and other essential components.
This position plays a vital role in keeping projects on schedule by ensuring inventory is properly labeled stored and easily accessible on-site. If you enjoy working in a hands-on environment staying organized and contributing to efficient operations this is the opportunity for you!
Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Verify stock information unit numbers and labeling accuracy
- Track and audit equipment materials and parts
- Unpack sort and stage inventory for contractor use
- Maintain accurate inventory records in compliance with company policies
- Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits
- Assist with labeling and proper placement of materials on-site
- Support supervisors with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as an Inventory Specialist Inventory Clerk or Warehouse Associate preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer and Excel skills (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/work outdoors for extended periods
- Flexibility with schedule and willingness to adapt as needed
