Summary of the Job:

The Intern role is accountable to develop core skills and working knowledge of FNBO business practices and operations through educational sessions straightforward projects and other duties requested by the manager.

About This Role:

Responsibilities

  • Conduct an in-depth analysis into one of our co-branded partners from an application and customer management perspective. The final product for this project would most likely be a completed slide deck with key application metrics trends and performance analysis. This analysis would also include more learnings from the partnership perspective and the overall card experience.

  • Learn/Update our Monthly MIS reports at least one of the months theyre here.

  • Get familiar with Power Bi and help create some of our partner reporting

  • Participate in corporate internship program activities such as educational workshops social events and community outreach.

Duties may include

  • Sit in on our Credit Risk groups party planning committee to help with planning our bi-annual Credit Risk On-Site event

  • Attend and participate in required internship educational sessions to develop and enhance core skills industry knowledge and key system and process understanding (as available)

  • Participate and/or lead the completion of assigned short-term projects as requested by manager

  • Work with manager to develop implement and complete a development plan intended to identify educational opportunities in the organization aligned with interests

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Program Requirements

  • Must be a current university student or recent graduate with pursuing a degree in a STEM field

  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Possess leadership skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Python/ R knowledge is a plus

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
