Job Summary

What you will do:

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Managing Director to join Aeyde as a key strategic partner to our CEO and leadership team. This individual will be instrumental in scaling our financial operations optimizing our business model and leading key strategic initiatives that drive company growth. The CFO will help shape how we expand raise capital and manage profitability across our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) wholesale and retail channels.

This is a unique opportunity for a visionary financial leader to build a global luxury fashion brand. You will be responsible for a collaborative high-performing team with significant influence on Aeydes next phase of growth.

Strategic Finance & Business Case Planning

Own company-wide business case planning and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve P&L goals.
Evaluate and improve unit economics order economics and profitability across countries and channels.
Drive cost-efficiency initiatives across the business.

Financial Operations & Controls

Lead and evolve all finance functions: Controlling FP&A Accounting and Tax.
Oversee legal responsibilities for employment law commercial and contract law corporate law intellectual property and brand protection ESG and regulatory compliance shareholder relations and governance.
Manage and optimize cash flow working capital and treasury.
Ensure compliance with German GAAP and all relevant local and international regulations.
Implement scalable financial systems tools and data-driven decision-making frameworks.

Tech/BI/Data

Lead and expand the BI/Tech/Data team to provide actionable insights and support strategic initiatives.

Fundraising & Investor Relations

Drive fundraising activities across venture capital private equity and banking relationships.
Prepare compelling investor materials and maintain relationships with existing and prospective shareholders.
Develop board-level KPIs and reporting frameworks to ensure transparency and alignment.

Team Leadership

Build lead and mentor a high-performing agile finance team
Foster a culture of accountability innovation and excellence.
Partner closely with Product Merchandising Marketing Supply Chain and Sales to align strategy and execution.

What you will bring:

10 years of relevant experience in finance including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role ideally as CFO VP Finance or Head of Finance.
Experience in startup or high-growth company settings with a hands-on and pragmatic approach and ideally experience in e-commerce / fashion.
Proven track record of building and scaling teams and operations.
Successful experience in fundraising and investor relations with venture capital private equity or capital markets.
Exceptional analytical and modeling skills; ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
High ethical standards and strong personal integrity.
Fluent in English; German is a plus.
