Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst. The candidate may sit in Titusville NJ or Bogota.

Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will handle the Account-to-Report (A2R) day-to-day operations and responsibilities supporting Pecos & Red River Talc LLC and Royalty A&M LLC (RAM). These are separate subsidiaries of Johnson & Johnson established to hold and manage claims in the cosmetic talc litigation. The SFA will also support Product Liability reporting. This highly visible role is a unique opportunity to support actuals reporting in collaboration with GS A&D and the Corporate Controllers Office. Primary scope of responsibilities comprises of monthly and quarterly closes including but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Support the quarterly close process and prepare reporting packages
  • Perform monthly and quarterly cross charging through intercompany and journal entries as needed.
  • Coordinate with Business Partners in evaluating and addressing business ad hoc needs
  • Provide support for key compliance activities including ensuring overall financial compliance reviews are done balance sheets external compliance reviews etc.
  • Meet and present to senior management on actual results and risks & opportunities
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to identify and implement opportunities in standardizing and automating processes
  • The individual will also participate in and lead specific Corporate projects

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelors degree preferably a major in Accounting or Finance or another related field is required.
  • An advanced degrees or certifications such as MBA CPA or CMA etc. is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of finance or related business experience is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite of products (Excel PowerPoint etc.) SAP and Blackline is required
  • The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required.
  • The ability to effectively take on leadership roles in various functions is required.
  • Strong financial analysis skills the ability to partner with people at all organizational levels internally and externally operate with a high degree of independence and the proven ability to lead and collaborate in a highly complex environment is required.
