Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will handle the Account-to-Report (A2R) day-to-day operations and responsibilities supporting Pecos & Red River Talc LLC and Royalty A&M LLC (RAM). These are separate subsidiaries of Johnson & Johnson established to hold and manage claims in the cosmetic talc litigation. The SFA will also support Product Liability reporting. This highly visible role is a unique opportunity to support actuals reporting in collaboration with GS A&D and the Corporate Controllers Office. Primary scope of responsibilities comprises of monthly and quarterly closes including but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

Support the quarterly close process and prepare reporting packages
Perform monthly and quarterly cross charging through intercompany and journal entries as needed.
Coordinate with Business Partners in evaluating and addressing business ad hoc needs
Provide support for key compliance activities including ensuring overall financial compliance reviews are done balance sheets external compliance reviews etc.
Meet and present to senior management on actual results and risks & opportunities
Lead continuous improvement efforts to identify and implement opportunities in standardizing and automating processes
The individual will also participate in and lead specific Corporate projects

Qualifications:

A minimum of a bachelors degree preferably a major in Accounting or Finance or another related field is required.
An advanced degrees or certifications such as MBA CPA or CMA etc. is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of finance or related business experience is required.
Experience with Microsoft Suite of products (Excel PowerPoint etc.) SAP and Blackline is required
The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required.
The ability to effectively take on leadership roles in various functions is required.
Strong financial analysis skills the ability to partner with people at all organizational levels internally and externally operate with a high degree of independence and the proven ability to lead and collaborate in a highly complex environment is required.
