Job Description
Were seeking a driven and passionate Senior Accountant to join our growing team based in Charlottetown PEI. As the successful candidate you will assume a pivotal role providing invaluable support to the Controller while spearheading a wide array of financial initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple provinces/branches.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Full cycle accounting (AP AR payroll & month/year-end processes)
- Financial statement preparation
- Financial reporting
- General ledger maintenance
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Internal controls and process improvement
- Financial analysis
- Other duties and related projects as assigned
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- CPA designation in progress or completed would be considered an asset but is not required
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field
- 3 years progressive full cycle accounting experience
- High level proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems. Specific experience with Sage is a definite asset
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data interpret results and provide valuable insights to support decision-making
- Meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and data analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Uphold a high level of integrity and ethical standards in handling sensitive financial information
Compensation: $65000 - $75000 based on experience and qualifications.
