Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes for a large global business unit. The role enhances current business processes and performance metrics by leading regional and global business unit planning teams and identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes. The role contributes to special projects and communicates requirements to the global business unit planning teams.
Be part of an extended team supporting Personal Systems Operations in their Product Lifecycle Management Operations on NPI and Sustaining Programs for Workstations and Enterprise platforms. This is a day-to-day operational role with end-to-end accountability ofthe product platform support during its active marketing lifecycle. You will interface with global and regional engineering R&D planning functions and manufacturing partners.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end Product Engineering data management supporting the entire product life-cycle from inception by creating maintaining and managing changes to product engineering information and structure until product end of life.
- Interface with global and regional Engineering Marketing R&D Costing Planning manufacturing functions to establish a working relationship paving way for quick information flow.
- Proactively clarify queries and conduct reviews of BOM structure to validate its accuracy on the modules assigned to you.
- Accountable to meet and sustain the product platform datareadiness metric.
- Responsible to author change orders to have the components released to production within the pre-defined PDM timeline.
- Responsible to perform the change analyst role for commercial DTO platforms.
- Demonstrate value creation for the team and business by way of process improvements and automation.
- Generate and maintain recurring information reports quantifying the volume of requests addressed and time utilization on a monthly basis for any metric reporting required for the management.
- Keep reported escalations to a minimum.

Principal Duties
- Support the development control and release of engineering product data in support of new product introductions programs under Workstation and Enterprise businesses.
- Review and report on the status of continuous product changes.
- Manage the release and change management of data deliverables during the NPI process.
- Interface with Supply Chain R&D Marketing and ODM PDM team to meet product changes and deadlines.
- Establish process improvement ideas thus creating bandwidth for self to take on more responsibility.
- Generate and maintain recurring information reports quantifying the volume of requests addressed and time utilization on a monthly basis.

- Demonstrate motivation to build deeper technical depth in area-of-expertise.
Education & Skill Requirements
- Bachelor of engineering in Electronics Electrical Mechanical discipline.
- Flexible to work with US time zones.
- Good working knowledge of key Microsoft applications and computer skills which includes MS Office/Outlook and web-based applications.
- 4 years of work experience in handling the Product Data Management BOM structures and engineering change knowledge for computer hardware industry preferably using SAP. .
- Excellent written and verbal skills for effective communication.
- Good knowledge of PC technology.
- Proven work quality to delivery accurate thorough and on-time results consistently.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively in teams remote teams and individuals and influence other to get results.
- Ability to work well with remote teams and individuals.
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks with minimal direction.
