Planet A Ventures is a European early-stage venture capital fund supporting founders tackling our greatest systemic challenges. The fund uses rigorous scientific impact assessments to identify solutions the world cannot afford to ignore. Investments include INERATEC Makersite C1 HIVED traceless materials and 44.01. We are looking for an exceptional individual to join Planet A Ventures as an Investment this role youll work closely with our General Partners in-house scientific advisors and a close-knit team of purpose-driven investors. While Berlin is our hub we welcome individuals from across Europe who are eager to help us drive measurable impact.

Tasks

• Shape the future of planet-positive entrepreneurship: Take joint responsibility for the full investment process from spotting promising ventures and meeting visionary founders to deep-dives expert calls and writing proposals that turn ideas into reality.
• Grow our network and influence: Build and nurture meaningful relationships across Europes VC landscape with founders and industry experts strengthening Planet As reach and sharpening our deal-sourcing edge.
• Turn opportunities into investments: Work side-by-side with our General Partners to bring deals across the finish line from negotiation to closing.
• Dive deep into science and tech: Develop expertise in frontier deep-tech topics that hold the keys to solving global challenges.
• Connect the dots and see ahead: Prepare market and industry research that inspires new investment theses and keeps us ahead of emerging trends.
• Make our fund smarter every day: Support internal projects that help Planet A become ever more thesis- and data-driven.
• Be an ambassador for Planet A: Represent us at industry events on stage and in writing from speaking engagements to blog posts while actively building your own network and amplifying our presence in the venture ecosystem.

Requirements

• Youve driven impact through investing with a proven track record in venture capital private equity or related investment roles in fast-paced environments. Bonus points for a solid foundation in a scientific or engineering discipline to strengthen our science-meets-business edge.
• Curiosity is your superpower youre passionate about emerging deep-tech trends ready to immerse yourself in uncharted waters and build deep domain knowledge.
• Structure meets creative hustle you bring exceptional self-organisation and a methodical approach to your work while still flexing the agility to adapt and think on your feet.
• Confident grounded driven by purpose you engage external partners with conviction and clarity yet lead with humility and empathy.
