Job Description Job Title: Senior Network Engineer IC3 Work Location: Hyderabad
About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer (IC3) to join our Cloud Networking Operations team. In this role youll handle proactive network operations serve as a point of escalation and work closely with SRE and Network Engineering teams to ensure seamless operations automation and reliability of our global network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a core member of the Cloud Networking Operations team.
Mentor and guide network specialists within the SRE team.
Serve as a point-of-escalation for complex networking issues.
Collaborate with SRE Data Center and Network Engineering teams on upgrades deployments and change execution.
Review and optimize network monitoring systems thresholds and alerts.
Manage and improve device management strategies.
Perform ongoing analysis of CMDB and monitoring tools to maintain operational hygiene.
Drive testing implementation and automation initiatives from the Network Architecture team.
Develop maintain and enhance automation scripts to:
- Configure devices as per defined standards.
- Troubleshoot resolve alerts and optimize performance.
Partner with engineering teams to transition new platforms and services into operations.
Provide feedback on architecture design tools and automations to improve network performance and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: 5 years in network engineering or operations roles.
Core Networking Expertise:
- Routing & Switching: OSPF ISIS BGP NAT ACLs IPSEC
- VLANs & Redundancy: 802.1q HSRP/VRRP MCLAG
- Load Balancers: F5 (mandatory)
- Protocols: TCP/IP SNMP (MPLS exposure is a plus)
Platform Knowledge:
- Juniper JunOS (strong expertise required)
- Cisco IOS (good to have)
Automation & Scripting:
- Proficiency in Python Ansible JavaScript
- Exposure to Agile SDLC preferred
Troubleshooting Tools:
- Must-have: Wireshark tcpdump
Operating Systems:
- Basic Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting
- Cumulus Linux experience is a plus
Certifications:
- JNCIE or CCIE highly preferred

Educational Qualification

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent experience.
