General Information:Job title: Registered Nurse - Acute CareSchedule: Full-time 72 hours per pay period; three 12 hour shifts per week- 7:00pm to 7:30amWeekend rotation: Every 4th weekend Weekend shift differential availableHoliday rotation: Paid HolidaysPosition Summary:The Registered Nurse position provides quality professional general nursing care to patients. Responsible for assessing planning implementing documenting and evaluating patient care for a group of patients in the department. Must adapt appropriately to changes in daily assignments patient status changes and unit Responsibilities:Use and perpetuate the nursing process throughout the patients hospitalization. Once the order is acknowledged follow through on order or delegate in a timely proficient in medication administration including IV therapy as evidenced by lack of medication patient/family education plan and discharge needs according to the individualized needs of the patient/family as prescribed by provider and/or hospital to and collaborates with other health team members in planning and providing care based on patient and maintain skills and equipment competencies as care for multiple patients.
