Summary:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong technical expertise to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of healthcare knowledge analytical problem-solving and technical proficiency. The Senior Business Analyst will lead projects that improve business processes enhance data-driven decision-making and deliver innovative solutions to our healthcare clients
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders technical teams and clients to gather document and analyze requirements.
- Lead and facilitate discovery sessions workshops and stakeholder interviews to define project scope and objectives.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications functional documentation and system designs.
- Drive process improvement by developing knowledge documentation training programs and white papers to support end-users and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain reports dashboards and BI solutions using tools such as Tableau Power BI Cognos Business Objects and Crystal Reports.
- Collaborate with development teams on data modeling ETL processes and system integrations for healthcare data platforms.
- Support the design testing and implementation of solutions within EMR systems ERP platforms and other healthcare applications.
- Provide technical troubleshooting (hardware/software/network) and ensure system issues are resolved efficiently.
- Work within Agile/SCRUM environments serving as a Scrum Master when needed.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards security and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide leadership in team-based initiatives.
Qualifications & Required Experience
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Information Systems Computer Science or related field (Masters preferred).
- 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare consulting or related healthcare IT environment.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data EMR systems and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL Server SDLC and ERP systems.
- Expertise in ETL concepts data modeling and business intelligence reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Cognos Business Objects Tableau Power BI and Crystal Reports.
- Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives and delivering technical documentation/training.
- Experience in Agile methodologies with Scrum Master certification (preferred).
- Strong communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
