Murex Risk Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Needs to be in the DC area.
Murex Liquidity Risk is a need here. The primary responsibilities would include: Act as Business Analyst for Liquidity Management team within Treasury. Represent as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Murex. Knowledge of Liquidity Management module in Murex is preferred. Collaborate with Murex and business for impact assessment of changes to implementations.
Help to create and enrich user stories requirements and to define user testing acceptance criteria.
Independently perform validation and regression tests of the Liquidity Management solutions.
Perform analysis of the breaks in the reports investigate underlying issues and report issues.
Provide relevant recommendations (if applicable) as an outcome of the validation and regression exercise.
Structure feedback and requirements from Liquidity Management stream concisely and consistently convey them to the project implementation team.
Assist in developing and executing the test cases for UAT.
Perform user acceptance test cases and do the reconciliations as needed to validate that test results are in line with requirements and expectations.
Maintain issue status logs and follow up with project stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved.
Prepare reports and status updates for stakeholders and management.
Ensure all requirements in the scoping user stories and testing documents are delivered by Murex as expected.
Help creating and maintaining documentations for Liquidity Management functionality.
Collaborating with stakeholders across the World Bank Group (e.g. multiple business units IT Murex) and owning various deliverables of Liquidity Management business team in Project TANGO.
Act as a backup for the Liquidity Management team for the Business as usual (BAU) operations as needed.
The candidate should possess:
Strong experience in supporting implementation of integrated financial system applications preparing specifications performing design analysis and testing etc. is expected.
Strong working knowledge with the Murex system including specific knowledge of the following Simulation (Detailed and Consolidated) Market Data MLC MRA/MRB Market Scenarios Trade Lifecycle/Events MX Reporting/Datamart Front & Back Office Business Processes
Good working knowledge of financial instruments including bonds bank deposits repo agreements futures and OTC derivatives (swaps swaptions callable swaps caps / floors FX forwards).
Good understanding of Liquidity Management measurements including risk sensitivities (DV01 FX Basis DV01 etc.) liquidity coverage ratios cash flow simulation FX / interest rate fixing simulation and stress testing.
Liquidity risk management knowledge is preferred but not a must have.
Excellent analytical skill be a skilled troubleshooter and problem solver and be able to deliver results within tight timelines and in compliance with defined internal control / quality assurance requirements.
Excellent documentation and written/oral communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required.
Excellent personal organization skills team player adaptable and responsible with the ability
