Seeking an Electronics Technician to join our team. You must have an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Job DetailsDevelop revise and/or review specifications for new or upgraded telecommunications systems or networks (voice data video).
Knowledge of state-of-the-art voice data video and satellite telecom systems.
Deploy configure operate and maintain strategic/tactical satellite telecom systems.
Coordinate communications mission requirements with state local and federal agencies.
Assist in development of mission-specific communications plans.
Maintain and conduct inventories.
Possess effective oral/written communication skills.
Evaluate analyze and improve communications systems and procedures.
Maintain equipment: satellite systems IP networks telephone systems VTC systems.
Deploy/integrate equipment:
Motorola radios routers switches
iDirect modems
Ku/Ka/X Band terminals
Starlink/MEO/LEO
Windows 10/11
Tactical radios (PRC-117 PRC-150 PRC-148)
KG-175/KG-250 encryptors
STE/vIPer secure phones
VOIP phones
Encryption loaders
Secure sat/cell phones
Knowledge of Tactical Operations Center (TOC) procedures.
Operational knowledge of cryptographic devices.
Ability to perform general maintenance/cleaning on vehicles and facilities.
Clearance: Active TS with SCI eligibility; may require polygraph and/or drug testing.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of documented experience as a telecommunications/communications systems technician (electrical mechanical or computer science systems).
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of communication systems including voice video satellite radios routers encryption and tactical communications.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. climb vehicles and work in field environments.
Deployment: Must be willing and able to deploy CONUS/OCONUS for up to 90 days and respond within a 1-hour recall window.
Full-time
