Job Description
Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Location: Alexandria VA
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Description:
- Troubleshoot repair and overhaul HVAC-related equipment such as air compressors pumps air handlers air dryers heat exchangers and other environmental control systems.
- Install maintain and repair pneumatic valves electric valves heat transfer equipment ventilation and air distribution equipment.
- Install and replace pumps refrigeration equipment and related components following technical diagrams specifications and instructions.
- Apply basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting principles to resolve issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of HVAC systems.
- Operate tools and equipment including refrigerant recovery/recycling units multi-meters brazing/soldering tools pipe threading machines and tube cleaning equipment.
- Document work performed by completing job reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Follow oral and written instructions to execute assignments effectively.
- Flexibility to work overtime weekends and respond to urgent service needs when required.
